  62. WinU is a Windows 95 menu system with timeout and security access
  63. features. It is excellent for parents that want to allow their children
  64. to use only certain software on the family PC, without worrying that
  65. Junior might delete the household tax records.  It is also ideal for
  66. computer stores that want to let the shopping public try their featured
  67. software without allowing access to the entire computer.  WinU lets you
  68. set the amount of time that shoppers (or children) can use a program.
  69. Itallows a warning "grace period,"  with a custom warning message that
  70. you can set, before it terminates the program.  Vendors and businesses
  71. will appreciate the File Logging feature, which tracks exactly when each
  72. programs was run, and for how long.  And WinU allows you to use any
  73. Windows bitmap as its fullscreen background image.  Use your company
  74. logoor sales information, or just your favorite pretty picture.  Or put
  75. the image in the top half and the menu buttons on the bottom, to give an
  76. unobstructed view of the picture.

  98. You can install WinU automatically, using the enclosed auto-installer. To
  99. do this, simply run install.exe from within Windows. You can run it using
  100. Explorer or the Run item on the Start menu, or in whatever other
  101. convenient way you choose.  Give it the directory to put the WinU files
  102. into, and the Start menu group name for the WinU icons (appropriate
  103. defaults are suggested). It'll do the rest.  The installer will make no
  104. changes to your system set-up or to any systemwide files.
